Triple H Makes Massive Statement About Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE Future Following Title Win

Stephanie Vaquer

WWE launched its ESPN era with a successful Wrestlepalooza event on Saturday, September 20. Stephanie Vaquer won her first main roster World title on the show.

Vaquer and IYO SKY went head-to-head in an action-packed, thrilling bout for the vacant Women’s World Championship, which Naomi relinquished because of her pregnancy in August last month.

The ending segment of the match saw Sky try to hit Vaquer with a moonsault, but she missed. This allowed Vaquer to capitalize and hit The Genius of the SKY with a Spiral Tap splash from the top rope to pin her opponent for the victory.

After the victory, both challengers shared an emotional moment inside the ring where they acknowledged each other. Another sentimental moment for La Primera came backstage when she met Triple H with the Women’s World Title on her shoulder.

Triple H congratulated the new champion on her victory in person backstage and then once again on social media with a special message stating that the Vaquer era has just begun in WWE.

The Game wrote, “Just the beginning for La Primera…Incredible performance on the big stage. #AndNew #Wrestlepalooza”

Stephanie Vaquer officially signed with WWE on July 10, 2024, and debuted in NXT at a live event in Mexico City on July 13, 2024. Her on-screen TV debut took place on September 24, 2024.

In NXT, Vaquer won the NXT Women’s North American Championship at Vengeance Day on February 15, 2025, and later captured the NXT Women’s Championship at Roadblock on March 11, 2025, becoming the first woman to hold both titles simultaneously and defend them on the same night.

She joined the WWE main roster on June 2, 2025, and now, three months later, she has won her first title on the WWE main roster.
