“What Are You So Afraid Of?” – Triple H Slammed For Excluding WWE Star From MITB

A former wrestling writer has criticized Triple H for not using a specific wrestler in the WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Following WWE SmackDown in Knoxville, five men have already qualified for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Andrade, Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Penta. Money in the Bank takes place on June 7th in Los Angeles.

The sixth man in the match will either be CM Punk, AJ Styles, or the “rookie” El Grande Americano. Punk is a former two-time Money in the Bank winner. Their match will take place on the June 2nd edition of Raw.

To qualify for Money in the Bank, men and women have had to win triple threat matches to gain a spot.

One man who wasn’t in a Money in the Bank qualifying match is Karrion Kross, who has only had one match on the Raw brand in 2025 in the first five months of the year. Kross appears on the show regularly, usually in backstage segments, but is rarely featured in the ring.

Triple H is the man in charge of WWE’s creative team as the Chief Content Officer, so it’s up to him to use or not use Kross.

Should Triple H Put Money In The Bank On Karrion Kross?

Vince Russo is a former WWE writer from the Attitude Era, who also worked briefly for WCW and for several years in TNA as a lead writer. On social media, Russo blasted Triple H for not putting Kross in a qualifying match.

Get out of your Comfort Zone and BOX and STOP REPEATING the SAME THING over and over again with THE SAME PEOPLE!!!

It’s worth noting that when Karrion Kross was in NXT and Triple H was in charge, Kross was a two-time NXT Champion and booked like a killer of sorts.

Additionally, when Triple H took over as WWE’s Chief Content Officer, which essentially meant he was replacing Vince McMahon as WWE’s Head of Creative, one of his first re-hires was Karrion Kross and his wife, Scarlett.

With that said, Russo also has a valid point that Triple H isn’t using Kross that much, and there are likely many fans who would agree with Russo’s idea.
