Triple H Allegedly Executing Calculated Plan To Secure His WWE Future

Triple H WWE Royal Rumble

There has been a lot of speculation that Triple H might soon lose his spot as the Chief Content Officer of WWE.

Fans have expressed dissatisfaction with the way he’s been booking shows and matches lately. Plus, John Cena’s retirement match has added more heat to his name.

On the new episode of Story Time with Dutch Mantell, co-host James Romero asked Mantell if he thinks Triple H is trying to make the fans like him again because the people have turned on him.

He has been putting himself everywhere in WWE, like narrating every major PLE opening video, kicking off big events, starring in the Netflix “Unreal” series, and even featuring on the WrestleMania 42 poster, which might make him seem desperate for fan love.

Triple H Doesn’t Care Whether The Fans Like Him Or Not

Mantell replied that Triple H focused on business first. Likes or dislikes don’t matter to him; results do.

By embedding himself everywhere, he’s making himself essential. If anything happened to him, WWE would struggle to replace that role.

He knows exactly what he’s doing, i.e., building an irreplaceable spot to drive the company forward.

Why would that be loved by the fans? Because he’s in a lot of stuff. To me, I think Triple H wants to do what’s best for business and it doesn’t matter whether people like him or not. I think that he’s getting what he wants.

But what he’s doing is putting himself in positions that if something happened to him it’d be hard to feel and he knows exactly what he’s doing. (From 7:08)

HHH took over the creative head role in July 2022 when his father-in-law, Vince McMahon, stepped down. He has done his best to elevate the company from the very first day he joined as the CCO.
