Why Triple H Releasing Ron Killings From WWE Was Justified

Ron Killings R-Truth WWE

Triple H is allegedly the reason behind Ron Killings’ release earlier this month.

R-Truth was released from his contract on June 1st; however, he was re-signed by WWE on the day of Money In The Bank. Former Hardcore Champion Al Snow believes that the Chief Content Officer made the right call, even though the WWE Universe was upset.

On Vince Russo’s YouTube channel, Russo and Al Snow discussed Ron Killings’ return to WWE and his release. According to Al Snow, he believes Triple H made the right call because Killings wasn’t getting them much return on the amount they were investing in him.

“At the end of the day, let’s look at what they have done with him over the years. What kind of a position they’ve put him in as far as in regards to drawing money that justifies the return on that investment that they’re making on him. Therefore, were they justified at some point, going, ‘Yeah, you know what? I think we’re kind of done. Here’s your release.’” [H/T Sportskeeda.com]

How Did Triple H React To Ron Killings’ Return?

At the Press Conference after Money In The Bank, Triple H addressed Ron Killings’ return by telling the fans that it was all a part of the show. However, at that point, the 53-year-old Superstar’s son took to Instagram to seemingly call the former World Champion a liar.

Before Triple H could make his statements, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso were at the Press Conference. During their interaction, Cody Rhodes let the fans know that they were the reason behind Killings’ return.
