Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE at SummerSlam 2025.

On Night of SummerSlam 2025, Cody Rhodes dethroned John Cena. After celebrating his victory and sharing an embracing hug with The Champ, The American Nightmare left the ring.

The Leader of Cenation was soaking in the final moments of his last SummerSlam when The Beast returned. He hit him with the F5 and left the ring.

John Cena wanted to bring back Brock Lesnar

Ever since Brock Lesnar’s name got involved in the lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, his return to the ring was a huge question mark.

It was reported that WWE’s legal team will need to agree with the move before WWE creative can start building storylines for The Beast.

During the post-show conference, Triple H revealed that John Cena is writing his own stories, based on his wishlist.

This is John Cena’s wishlist. It’s him writing the last chapter of his book.

This isn’t the first time it has been revealed that The Champ is strongly involved in writing his segments.

Before Night of Champions, the 17-time World Champion dropped a segment that mocked CM Punk’s pipebomb from 2014. It was a highly rated segment, and reportedly, Cena was the one who wrote the script.
