Triple H Reveals Existence Of Backstage Politics At WWE Survivor Series
Triple H has revealed that backstage politics occurred at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
Just hours before the event, WrestleVotes reported on X that there was creative tension over the entrance order for the men’s WarGames match.
With the amount of star power involved in the match, arguments were bound to take place, with the participants potentially demanding more screen time and exposure.
Brock Lesnar’s team had won the advantage on SmackDown, allowing its participants to come out first at regular intervals, thus giving them an upper hand for a brief period before a member of the opposition arrived.
Ultimately, it was Lesnar’s team that won the match after Bron Breakker nailed CM Punk with a spear.
However, the bout did not end with its share of controversy, as a masked man appeared in the closing minutes to attack Punk.
WWE Chief Content Officer addressed the masked individual during the post-show, teasing a potential reveal of the attacker on Monday Night RAW.
Triple H Addresses Backstage Politics At Survivor Series
Triple H was one of the participants in the Survivor Series post-show segment, where he discussed the different matches of the night, including the men’s and women’s WarGames.
While stating that the atmosphere was tense, he confirmed the existence of politics backstage involving the participants.
Unbelievable. One of the most star-studded WarGames I can recall. The level of star power that was in there was second to none. Everybody delivered.
When you have Brock Lesnar, who does not team well with others. When you have Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, CM Punk, Logan Paul. All these people that are in there putting things out at another level, and you see that competitive nature.
The lobbying, the politics, the backstage tension tonight, you can cut it with a knife. It was epic. You saw that in people’s performances. [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]
