Triple H Couldn’t Help But Praise This WWE Star

Triple H WWE Royal Rumble

Triple H praises Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes finished his American dream WrestleMania XL by beating Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a singles match. That win ended Reigns’ record-breaking reign (1,316 days as champion) and officially positioned Rhodes as the new face of WWE.

Since then, Rhodes has carried the company, defending his title against top stars like John Cena, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre, proving he earned his spot and changed the landscape of WWE.

Triple H Lauds Cody Rhodes’ Strong Work Ethic.

Cody Rhodes calls himself “the quarterback of WWE,” and it’s not just for show. He truly leads from the front. Like an NFL QB, he sets the pace, makes big moves, and keeps the roster motivated. He works a punishing schedule, traveling all over the world for wrestling events, media appearances, and charity work for Make-A-Wish, just like a team captain keeps players focused and fans hyped.

He’s always first in and last out: finding time to work out during airport layovers, doing interviews straight off flights, hitting up charity meets before and after shows, and taking no days off from training. Triple H recently praised this attitude on social media, explaining how hardworking The American Nightmare actually is.

People only see results… they don’t see what it takes to achieve them. 14 hours to Dubai Find a gym in the airport… grind 10 more to Perth Straight to @ESPN hit… meet @MakeAWish families QB1 stuff. What it takes to be a @WWE Superstar. Thank you to all. (Sorry @CodyRhodes, felt like I needed to share)

Cody Rhodes is set for a Champion vs. Champion against Seth Rollins for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship this year at Crown Jewel in Perth, which streams live on October 11. Rhodes won the Crown Jewel Championship last year by defeating Gunther in a singles match. It would be interesting to see if Rollins could dethrone him this year.
