Is Triple H Having A Power Struggle With The Undertaker Backstage

Rumors of a power struggle backstage in WWE continue to gain traction.

Triple H assumed the role of Chief Content Officer in September 2022 and has been responsible for producing shows for the company since then.

However, there have been discussions about a prevailing power struggle, which threatens to shake the foundation of the ‘Triple H Era.’

Recently, the Undertaker, who retired in late 2020, expressed his interest in joining the creative team. This move could see him working closely with his former in-ring rival.

Could their kayfabe rivalry add to The Game’s rumored tensions with The Rock? A former WWE creative writer does not think so.

Vince Russo appeared on the latest BroDown episode, wherein he was asked if the King of Kings would gel well with Taker.

Yeah, I don’t see a power struggle at all because Taker’s there to just kind of throw ideas, you know. Triple H is, you know, the head of it and pretty much running it.

I think Triple H would be stupid not to take good ideas from Taker, but I don’t think it’s a power struggle type of thing. I think there’s definitely a power struggle going on with Triple H and Rock without a shadow of a doubt, but I don’t think you’d see that here. [19:02 onwards]

Triple H Might Quit WWE Sooner Than Expected

Triple H’s tensions with The Rock may force him to leave WWE sooner than expected.

During an interview with Hannibal TV, Russo claimed that The People’s Champion holds too much power, which might be difficult for The Cerebral Assassin to overcome.

Eventually, they are not going to need Triple H. And, as soon as The Rock feels like he wants to take over, Rock is taking over. Rock is Hollywood. Rock is entertainment. Rock is buddies with these guys. Rock has known Ari Emanuel for years and years and years and the more and more and more they become an entertainment conglomerate, the more and more and more the wrestling goes away. And that’s why I honestly believe, without a shadow of a doubt, Triple H’s time is sooner than many people think.
