Triple H Pays Tribute To Rhea Ripley

Triple H has heaped praise on WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley following her successful title defence at Elimination Chamber.

Ripley successfully defended her title against Nia Jax at Elimination Chamber on 25th February, pinning the powerful Superstar after delivering a thunderous Riptide Slam, much to the delight of the huge crowd in Perth, Australia.

Victory in the main event of a Premium Live Event held in front of her countrymen is likely the highlight of a special year for Ripley, who has gone from strength to strength since capturing the Women’s World Championship from Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has played a key role in Ripley’s development since her NXT debut in the inaugural Mae Young Classic in 2017 and he was quick to praise the former NXT Women’s Champion in a recent post on social media site ‘X’:

“What a week it’s been for @RheaRipley_WWE. She’s a main event Superstar anywhere in the world…but this homecoming just turned things up a notch. Congrats to your Women’s World Champion.

Next stop: #WrestleMania XL.”

Rhea Ripley Set For Huge WrestleMania Clash With Becky Lynch

Ripley is now on a WrestleMania 40 collision course with ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch, whose victory in the women’s Elimination Chamber match sealed her shot at the WWE Women’s World Championship on the grandest stage of them all in Philadephia this April.

Ahead of the bout, Ripley has stated her hope that the match could be selected as the main event on one night of the two-evening spectacular.
