Triple H May Form Shocking On-Screen Alliance With Heel WWE Star?
The WWE Universe might soon see Triple H join forces with heel star Gunther.
HHH booked John Cena to lose his final match to The Ring General by submission, and a lot of fans hated that decision and blamed him for ruining Cena’s send‑off.
Many viewers felt Cena should have won or at least lost in a more heroic way, instead of tapping out in his retirement match.
The live crowd booed loudly, chanted at Triple H, and social media exploded with posts saying his booking was disrespectful to Cena’s legacy.
Even with all that backlash, Hunter showed almost no regret and stood by the finish in media comments and live explanations.
He said there are “time‑honored traditions” in wrestling and that putting Gunther over strong in Cena’s last match was “the right thing for business.”
Triple H Might Turn Heel In WWE To Align With Gunther
Triple H is apparently unfazed by all the backlash he’s getting, and a fan believes that he is purposely giving himself heat to position himself as a heel in the company.
Vince Russo discussed this wild idea on the new edition of the Coach and Bro show, claiming that it’s totally possible.
Russo: That would probably save it. That would probably save it, coach. If he went out there and cut the promo of everything we’re saying, that would probably save it. Seriously, that would. ‘I wasn’t going to get him more over than me. Of course, we had him beat twice on the way out. You think his legacy is going to be greater than mine.’ That would save it, actually.
Coachman: And now what if he aligns himself with Gunther? That they were in it together. I might enjoy that, actually.Russo: That might save the whole thing. Absolutely. (From 36:26)
