Triple H Breaks Silence On AJ Lee’s WWE Return With Heartwarming Message
AJ Lee returned to WWE on the September 5th, 2025 episode of SmackDown!
Fans had predicted that the former WWE Divas Champion would return to the ring after Becky Lynch interfered in CM Punk’s Clash in Paris match and slapped him on the following RAW.
On the same episode of WWE RAW, CM Punk teased a SmackDown appearance. Since the SmackDown was in Chicago, Punk’s hometown, several speculations claimed that AJ Lee might return at the blue show, and SHE DID!
Triple H welcomes AJ Lee home
During the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, AJ Lee returned to the ring during CM Punk’s segment with Becky Lynch.
As soon as she arrived at the arena, fans reacted with surreal enthusiasm. What followed was nothing short of a fairytale for CM Punk fans.
Triple H took to social media to welcome AJ Lee back to WWE. His heartwarming message welcomed her back home, back where she belongs.

There is no doubt that Triple H and WWE have big plans for Lee, and it will begin at Wrestlepalooza against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
Fans already got a glimpse of the type of action they can expect from AJ Lee.
During WWE SmackDown, she entered the ring and took down Becky Lynch, and destroyed her with several punches. The Man finally left the ring, without the Women’s Intercontinental Championship belt, after Lee slapped her.
Seth Rollins appeared within the crowd to confront CM Punk, but The Best in the World gestured for him to come ringside instead of either hiding behind his wife or within the crowd.
It is yet to be seen how WWE ensures AJ Lee and CM Punk’s story moves forward. However, it is highly recommended that the global juggernaut not have Lee turn on Punk!
