Triple H & Nick Khan To Rake In Huge Sums From Endeavor Sale
WWE has announced that they are to be sold to Endeavor and merged into a new company with UFC, and while there are a lot of unknowns at how this will shake out, what is known is it means a cash bonanza for Triple H and Nick Khan.
The Endeavor Group officially announced on the morning of the 3rd of April 2023 that it had agreed to a $21 billion deal to form a new company that will encompass both UFC and WWE in the biggest shake-up in the wrestling world in decades.
WWE CEO Nick Khan will become President of the brand and Dana White will continue in his role as UFC President. A Board of Directors of the new company will be formed with Endeavor appointing six directors while WWE will appoint five. Vince McMahon will act as Executive Chairman of the new company which oversees both brands.
The deal also gives UFC a higher value than that of WWE with the MMA organisation valued at $12.1 billion with WWE valued at $9.3 billion. The new company will run under the TKO ticker on the New York Stock Exchange and will be known as NewCo until it is named.
A filing made by WWE to the SEC confirmed that due to the sale, several executives in WWE are set for a huge payday. Nick Khan will receive $15 million while Triple H (Paul Levesque) and WWE’s President and Chief Financial Officer Frank A. Riddick III will each net $5 million.
In an interview following the sale being announced, Vince McMahon confirmed that he will be involved in WWE creative “on a higher level” going forward.
