Triple H Reacts To NFL Players Attempting A Pedigree Celebration
Triple H had some thoughts for two NFL players who tried to celebrate a big play with a Pedigree.
The current role of Paul “Triple H” Levesque is the Chief Content Officer of WWE, which means he is in charge of the company from a creative standpoint. Today’s WWE product has been called the “Triple H Era” numerous times because what you see on Raw, Smackdown, and WWE’s main roster PLE shows comes from his mind along with the creative team that supports him.
As a pro wrestler, Triple H was one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time with 14 WWE World Title runs along with successful runs in groups like Evolution and D-Generation. He has already been inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame as part of DX and has a future induction as a singles wrestler as well.
Every great wrestler has a finishing move and for Triple H, it was the Pedigree. It’s a move where Hunter puts his opponent’s head in between his thighs, hooks their arms behind them, and jumps so that it sends them face-first into the mat. The Pedigree is a move that wrestling fans have been imitating for over 25 years and is still being used on WWE television by Seth “Freakin” Rollins regularly.
The Pedigree was also used during the NFL Wild Card round when Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean attempted to do it after Mitchell’s game-sealing interception against the Green Bay Packers. The problem with Mitchell and DeJean’s move is that DeJean sold the Pedigree too early, so he hit the grass while Mitchell was trying to do the move.
Triple H reacted on X/Twitter while also congratulating the Eagles.
There’s a reason we say ‘Don’t try this at home’…congrats on the win Quinyon & @Eagles!

Triple H Is “Here For The Fans” Says X-Pac
Sean Waltman aka X-Pac is one of Triple H’s best friends who was part of the D-Generation X group with the WWE boss.
During a recent interview, Waltman explained why Triple H is the perfect guy for the job that he has in WWE right now.
“I’ll share something I haven’t told anyone else, when we were at Raw, I said to him, ‘You deserve all this. And the fans deserve you.’
The fans dealt with a lot of bulls**t over the years. It was hard to be a fan for a while, and I don’t f**king mind saying it. It’s different now.
He’s here for the fans. There is so much happiness and excitement surrounding WWE. This is what I always envisioned for him. It’s amazing.”
Next up for Triple H in his role as WWE’s CCO is the January 13th edition of Raw from San Jose, California with Damian Priest facing Finn Balor in a Street Fight, along with appearances from CM Punk & Rhea Ripley, and several other big matches.
