Triple H Celebrates With Newly Crowned Champion Backstage At WWE SmackDown

Triple H is proud to see how far a new WWE Champion has come in their career.

When Jade Cargill signed with WWE in 2023, it followed a run in AEW where she dominated as the company’s TBS Champion.

From the moment she arrived in WWE, Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque appeared with her backstage, as WWE’s way of letting fans know she was a big deal.

Cargill had a long, undefeated streak in AEW, and she didn’t have that many long matches, so by the time she got to WWE, she was kept off television for several months so WWE could help her improve in the ring.

For most of her two years in WWE, Cargill was a beloved babyface, inspiring awe with her incredible power and impressive look. However, Cargill turned heel recently and used that momentum to win the WWE Women’s Title from Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

On social media, Triple H posted a photo from backstage on WWE SmackDown with the WWE boss doing his classic “point” photo to the new champion Cargill.

Kevin Nash Defends Triple H Against WWE Fan Criticism

As the WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque has a lot of responsibilities because he runs the creative team, has a major say on the roster of wrestlers that he can use on shows, and obviously has to try to put on the best shows possible to entertain WWE fans.

Kevin Nash is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and a good friend of Triple H, who recently defended The Game against critics who believe it is Hunter’s fault that WWE does shows in Saudi Arabia.

“You know, one thing that we didn’t talk about is Paul was getting heat for… them going to Saudi Arabia. And it’s like, let’s make sure that people understand that my friend’s job is he’s a… head of creative. He’s not the business guy that picks the f**king venues. That’s not his job. It’s… above his pay grade.”
