Triple H Names WWE’s Latest Megastar
Triple H is proud of a WWE Raw star.
In 2024, Liv Morgan enjoyed the best year of her career, thanks to a lengthy run with the Women’s World Championship and high-profile rivalries with Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley.
While Morgan promised to take everything that Ripley held dear (She did), she’s also taken credit for “retiring” Lynch, who hasn’t wrestled since losing to her in a Cage Match back in May.
Despite losing the Women’s Title back to Ripley on January 6, Morgan continued her impressive run, entering the Royal Rumble at number two and lasting an hour and seven minutes before being eliminated. She then went on to claim the Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Raquel Rodriguez.
Triple H Delighted With Liv Morgan Progress
At Elimination Chamber, Morgan again delivered an iron-woman performance, although it was Bianca Belair who booked her shot at the Women’s World Title.
Speaking during the Elimination Chamber post-show event, Triple H heaped praise on Morgan, suggesting she’s now become a megastar.
“Liv Morgan just continues to impress me. A woman that, a year ago, many people would have said, ‘She’s great to have on the roster and she’s a good hand.’ Since May, she’s become a megastar and continues to surpass that, to me.
She stood out tonight as a star in the spotlight and thriving. Even when she’s in pain, she looks like she is having the greatest time of her life doing it, and the little nuances that she is picking up now, she has earned that spot at the top and earned that spot to be called one of the best women in the ring we have right now. Incredibly proud of her,”
During the same press conference, Triple H admitted that the storyline around Jade Cargill has been “odd.” Cargill made her surprise at Elimination Chamber, taking Naomi out of the match before it even started.
The Game said creative around the star had been muddled because the company didn’t know when she’d be ready to return to action.
