Triple H Congratulates Motor City Machine Guns Winning WWE Gold

WWE Motor City Machine Guns With Triple H

The Motor City Machine Guns are WWE Tag Team Champions and they were praised for the win by the boss man, Triple H.

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley aka the Motor City Machine Guns made their WWE debut on the October 18th edition of Smackdown when they won a triple threat match that put them just one match away from a WWE Tag Team Title match.

On WWE SmackDown in Brooklyn, the Guns had a highly anticipated match against #DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano. They are two teams that have built up incredible resumes while wrestling in different companies for many years until they finally had that big match.

When the bell rang, it was a back-and-forth match that saw #DIY come close to winning multiple times, but the Guns got the win with their tag team finishing move called Skull & Bones.

After the match, The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa interrupted along with Jacob Fatu and the WWE Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa. Solo wanted the title defense to happen right there, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis disagreed, but Sabin & Shelley were willing to do it and the match was made.

The Motor City Machine Guns ended up winning the WWE Tag Team Titles in just their third WWE match thanks to an assist from Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso, who did the most damage to Tama & Loa when the referee was bumped. The Guns capitalized with Skull & Bones for the win.

Triple H Reacts To Motor City Machine Guns As WWE Tag Team Champions

As most WWE fans know, whenever there are new champions, it usually leads to a backstage photo with WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Leveque, who is known for pointing at the talent when he does a photo with them. Triple H posted his photo on social media with the Motor City Machine Guns holding their WWE Tag Team Titles.

On one hand… a long time coming. On the other hand… three matches in @WWE, and they’re already champions.

Congratulations to the Motor City Machine Guns @AlexShelley313 & @SuperChrisSabin.

Triple H is obviously a big fan of the Motor City Machine Guns since he is the man who books the shows and decided to put the WWE Tag Team Titles on the Guns in just their match for the company.
