Triple H Makes Huge WWE WrestleMania 42 Reveal
Paul “Triple H” Levesque has been keeping busy.
With WrestleMania 42 fast approaching, the WWE Chief Content Officer recently made a huge announcement surrounding the upcoming “Show of Shows.”
Levesque revealed the event’s official theme song, stating that veteran American band Aerosmith had collaborated with Yungblud (Dominic Richard Harrison) on their new EP “One More Time.”
Furthermore, the photo he shared showed that the track “Back in the Saddle” will be the official theme song of the event.
Taking to X, the 56-year-old wrote about his love for wrestling and music, further expressing his gratitude for having Aerosmith and Yungblud contribute toward WWE.
Two things that have always been a part of my life and career are rock music and wrestling. Incredible to see these icons from different generations come together in a massive way.
This collaboration isn’t just about the then and now… it’s charting a course for the future of a sound.
Honored to have @Aerosmith and @yungblud lend their sound to the Grandest Stage of Them All…#WrestleMania. Their new EP “One More Time” is out now and available everywhere.
Triple H’s Rock Music Connection
Triple H’s commitment to wrestling is well-known in the industry’s circles, and his love for rock music is storied, too.
His theme songs, “The Game” and “King of Kings,” have been recorded by Motorhead, and so is “Line in the Sand,” the theme song of his faction Evolution, also comprising Batista, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton.
Triple H has often spoken about his friendship with the late Lemmy Kilmister, the lead singer of Motorhead, who also performed his theme song live at WrestleManias 17 and 21.
D-Generation X’s theme song, “My Time,” by the Chris Warren Band, became an instant hit with the young audiences to top off the nonchalant shenanigans of the faction during the Attitude Era.
Some of Triple H’s other music influences include Judas Priest and Black Sabbath, with the latter’s War Pigs serving as the official theme song of the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames PLE.
