Triple H Makes Promise To WWE Fans
In a message to WWE fans ahead of the Netflix premiere of Raw, Triple H is making some big promises.
The current era of WWE has been called the “Triple H Era” by some people because Paul Levesque (aka WWE Hall of Famer Hunter Hearst Helmsley) has been running the company as the Chief Content Officer for over two years.
Since his father-in-law Vince McMahon officially left WWE at the start of 2024 due to a sexual harassment lawsuit, Triple H has had full control of the creative direction of WWE.
A lot of the talent on the current WWE main roster came up from the NXT brand that Triple H ran in the 2010s and there are plenty of people on the roster who were also there when Levesque was still performing in the ring.
In his current role as WWE CCO, Triple H also has to put his promoter hat on sometimes and talk about what the product is all about. While speaking at the WWE RAW on Netflix Kickoff event, Hunter spoke excitedly about Monday Night Raw moving to Netflix on January 6th and what it means for the fans who consume the WWE product.
“Now, with the biggest streaming service in the world as our partner, we become bigger than we have ever been before. On January 6, it is not just the launch of Raw. It is a new launch of WWE worldwide. I promise you, we will bring you the biggest stars, we will bring you the biggest storylines, we will bring you things like you have never seen before.
“Netflix on January 6 is just the start. That officially is the road to WrestleMania in Las Vegas. I can promise you from here to then, this will be like nothing you have ever seen before.”
Triple H Believes WWE’s Success Is Sustainable
As he continued addressing the WWE Universe, Triple H went on the explain why the company’s future is extremely bright.
“I think [WWE’s success] is sustainable,” he said. “It is a global product with a global fanbase, with people from all around the world that come together what WWE brings them week in and week out. This time, I can look at the roster that we have and say I have never seen a roster of more talented men and women from top to bottom than we have right now.
I have never seen this company have more global appeal than what we have right now, and with NXT and the Performance Center and everything that Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom and that team are creating, this is as sustainable as it has ever been. The future is incredibly bright.”
While his days as “The Game” in the ring might be over, Triple H did get physical at Saturday Night’s Main Event when he shoved Kevin Owens after Owens hit Cody Rhodes with a Package Piledriver following a controversial WWE Title match that Rhodes won.
