Triple H Makes Huge WWE UK Event Promise

Triple H WWE Raw Netflix

WWE will continue to bring big events to the UK.

In recent years WWE has continued to increase its presence in the United Kingdom. This has seen the company hold Clash at the Castle in Wales in 2022, Money In The Bank in London, England in 2023, and Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland in 2024.

On the ‘Road to WrestleMania 41’ WWE has been on a lengthy tour of Europe which has seen three TV tapings held in the UK. The last of these tapings is set to be the March 31st episode of Monday Night Raw.

The sports entertainment giant also held a try-out for European talent during the tour. While keeping an eye on the action, Triple H had a simple answer when asked by Alex McCarthy of the Daily Mail if a Premium Live Event would be heading to the UK in the next year or so.

“Oh yeah, for sure.”

The comments come after Drew McIntyre said he believes WrestleMania will be held in the UK. Naturally, McIntyre also found time to take a swipe at John Cena who he said had been trying to take credit for the recent push to take the event to the UK.

WWE Taking Premium Live Event To India

During a recent interview, Nick Khan confirmed that WWE will hold a Premium Live Event in India in 2026 or 2027. The company is set to make its debut on Netflix in India on April 1, after previously airing on the Sony Sports Network.

WWE first toured India in 1996, but it would be six years before the company returned. Surprisingly, it would take a further 14 years before the company went back after that.

More recently, WWE held the “Superstar Spectacle” on September 8, 2023, at the G. M. C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium.
