Triple H Makes Bold Claims For WWE’s Future
Triple H wants to change the game.
On January 6th, 2025, Monday Night Raw will premiere on Netflix as WWE looks to move into a new and even more dominant era. As the company continues to boast record revenue, record-breaking attendances, and the prospect of both Raw and SmackDown running for three hours, it’s looking to get even bigger.
When Raw arrives on Netflix, Roman Reigns will face Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat, CM Punk finally meets Seth Rollins, and Rhea Ripley will look to demolish Liv Morgan and take the Women’s World Championship. Logan Paul will also be on hand as he relaunches his WWE career as part of the red brand.
There’s also the small matter of John Cena kicking off his retirement tour, but Triple H wants more.
In a new video posted on social media, Triple H hyped up the move to Netflix, commenting that even bigger things are on the way.
“That is a wrap on 2024. We went all over the globe. We sold out. We set records. We lit the world on fire.
“I can tell you this, Jan 6 is right around the corner, Netflix, and you ain’t seen nothing yet.
“Are you ready?”
Triple H Making More WWE Changes
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that WWE will be making changes to the ring announcers when Raw moves to Netflix. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Lilian Garcia will be moving to SmackDown and Alicia Taylor will be on ring announcing duty on Raw, starting on January 6th.
Garcia returned to the company in October following Samantha Irvin’s surprise departure.
