Triple H Feels Like Protective Father To WWE Star

A WWE star is loving life under the guidance of Triple H.

After an impressive run with TNA and appearance in the Mae Young Classic, Mia Yim signed with WWE in September 2018. However, after becoming a regular in NXT, the star’s momentum was stalled after she was drafted into the ill-fated stable RETRIBUTION.

Although she was able to drop her ‘Reckoning’ moniker, she found TV time impossible to come by before being released in November 2021. The star then headed back to TNA before returning to WWE in November 2022 with the company now being run by Triple H.

During a new interview with Alistair McGeorge for The Metro, Yim talked glowingly about working with The Game, revealing he tried to help her during her time in RETRIBUTION. The star explained, “It was nice to know that there was someone that at least tried and cared.”

Yim said that with Triple H in charge, it was an easy decision to return to WWE.

“Hunter, Triple H, in NXT he felt like a protective father figure. It was like, “Oh, well, I know how Hunter has treated us at NXT, and seeing all my friends come back and knowing that he has more control, I feel comfortable and I can fully trust him to not fumble [me].”

Yim, now known as Michin, added that although life in WWE will always have ups and downs, it’s easier to trust the process with Triple H in charge.

“It may take a month, it may take three months, but it always happens how he explains it. So I have never had a reason to doubt his word.

I know that if any direction or idea has come about and is presented to me that it could literally start next week, it could start next month, or could start next year, but I know that at least it’s gonna happen.”

Triple H Says The Future Is Bright For New WWE Signing

At NXT No Mercy, Giulia finally made her WWE debut a little over four months after signing with the company.

The event saw Roxanne Perez defend the NXT Women’s Championship for the 7th time in her second reign as champion against Jaida Parker. After the match, Giulia confronted the champion in a staredown as Perez defiantly raised her title in her newest rival’s face.

After the show, Triple H commented that Giulia is “an absolute star” with a bright future.
