Triple H Is A “Mere Puppet” For TKO Executives
Has Triple H been guiding WWE to record revenues and acclaimed creative success, or is he just a puppet for his TKO masters with no real power at all?
Endeavor took over WWE in 2023, putting the company in the newly formed TKO Group alongside UFC. Triple H took over the creative running of WWE once and for all when Vince McMahon was told to resign as TKO Executive Chairman after a lawsuit was filed accusing the former WWE owner of sexual assault.
Triple H has been lauded by many as a creative genius, and WWE went from strength to strength, boasting record revenues in recent years. But recently, cracks have started to appear. Many believe Triple H and The Rock are locked in a power struggle, with The Rock now a member of TKO’s Board, something Triple H is not.
Is Triple H Powerless In WWE?
Speaking on The Last Word, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci took aim at the bosses of TKO, telling them that they needed to be involved in the day-to-day running of the company to really understand it and expressed his fear that Triple H is now nothing more than a puppet for them:
They’re clueless, let’s face it. If you don’t know the aspect of writing and how this product goes along, it’s way different from anything you’ve ever done before Ari in the entertainment world. This is its own business in a business and you’ve got to know the business. And in order to know this business, you have to be in it and they’re not in it.
The chairman was in it every day. He knew what was going on, Triple H has been in it all his life and at this point in time, Triple H is just a mere puppet to these guys. He has no stroke at all. I’m really convinced that he has no stroke at all with this company.
