Triple H Ignores Fan Chants For Ex-WWE Star

Triple H WWE

Triple H had no interest in chants for a former WWE Superstar.

During the WWE Night of Champions post-show, fans in Saudi Arabia decided to make their voices known as Triple H looked back at the event. This included chanting for former Superstar Matt Cardona; however, those chants went unacknowledged by the WWE boss.

Cardona signed with WWE in 2005, and after impressing in developmental, he was moved to the main roster alongside long-time tag team partner Brian Myers.

Cardona (Zack Ryder) remained with the company until being released in 2020, winning the Tag Team Championship twice, and the Intercontinental and United States Titles before all was said and done.

Back in May, Matt Cardona said he was “surprised” he hadn’t returned to WWE, but confirmed he’d reached out to the company several times.

Triple H Won’t Wrestle Again

While The Game had no interest in commenting on Matt Cardona, Triple H did respond to calls for “one more match.”

Trust me there ain’t one more match left in this. You know how they say ‘if it’s the last thing I do’, it WOULD be the last thing I do.

The WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Shinsuke Nakamura to defeat Robert Roode and Samoa Joe at a live event in Japan back in June 2019. However, he hadn’t wrestled anything close to a full-time schedule since 2010.

Triple H underwent surgery in September 2021 following what was described as a “cardiac event.” As a result, he was fitted with a defibrillator and forced to announce his retirement.
