Triple H Already Dropping Hints For Major Heel’s Babyface Turn

WWE Triple H

Triple H could have already laid the groundwork to turn a hated WWE star into one of the company’s most beloved babyfaces.

At Clash at the Castle in 2022, Dominik Mysterio betrayed his own father to join up with The Judgment Day. Since then, the slimy Mysterio has been loathed by fans, never more so than when he turned his back on his ‘Mami’ Rhea Ripley to join up with Liv Morgan.

As time moves on, however, fan reaction to Mysterio has begun to change. He was roared on to success at WrestleMania 41 when he captured the Intercontinental Title, and it seems it’s now just a matter of time before Triple H turns him babyface. And it all comes down to how Mysterio acted during Morgan’s absence from the company, as temptation was put in his path.

Triple H Already Set The Table For Dominik Mysterio Turn?

Speaking on NotSam Wrestling, WWE broadcaster Sam Roberts explained why he thinks Triple H has already laid the building blocks for Dominik Mysterio to turn babyface:

Liv Morgan’s been gone for months, and Dominik Mysterio never fell for any of Roxanne Perez’s shenanigans. To the point where, for a while, Roxanne Perez gave up trying. That felt like the direction that they were going in the beginning, but then after a while, they were like, “Okay, well that’s not happening.”

So the fact that Dominik Mysterio never buckled, the fact that Dominik Mysterio never crossed the line with Roxanne Perez or anybody else means that that character, for the first time in the existence of that version of the Dominik Mysterio character, has displayed a level of integrity. And the fact that we see integrity from the prison version of Dominik Mysterio for the first time is going to be one of those key building blocks in transitioning Dominik from heel to a babyface without really changing much.
