Triple H’s Alleged Dislike Of WWE Star Halts His Push

WWE boss Triple H

Word is, Triple H isn’t particularly fond of LA Knight.

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo was on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge recently, where he claimed that The Game harbors a dislike for the former United States Champion.

While the reason behind it is not known, Knight’s topsy-turvy career graph in the WWE is hard to miss.

By his own admission, Russo spoke to industry insiders who gave him the juice about Knight.

In a discussion with Chris Featherstone, Russo had the following to say.

Chris, I was told, not by an outsider, I’m just gonna put it to you this way. I was told that Triple H does not like LA Knight. And you’re seeing that, bro. LA Knight goes so far, then we pull him back; LA Knight goes so far, then we pull him back. And again, bro, that’s the competition between the boys. [From 9:30]

Russo also brought up how the promotion under the Cerebral Assassin puts him on the front page, comparing it to the time when WWE was under Vince McMahon.

He said that McMahon never put himself in the forefront; for him, it was all about the talent, and that this contradiction is bound to hurt the company and, by extension, wrestlers like LA Knight.

Triple H’s History Of Bitter Relationship With Peers

Triple H’s acrimonious relationship with various talents back during his wrestling days is well-documented.

While he had close friends, such as Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, and Scott Hall, among others, his disinterest in pushing other talents led to many of them being overlooked and underutilized.

The likes of Rob Van Dam, Paul London, Marc Mero, Scott Steiner, and Ken Shamrock, to name a few, have publicly criticized him.

On the other hand, LA Knight is a modern-day talent that has the crowd’s backing, and pulling back his push may result in adverse consequences for the brand.
