Triple H Gives Up Major WWE Raw Surprise

Triple H

Triple H had plenty to say after WWE debuted on Netflix but he might have let slip a big surprise for the next edition of Raw.

WWE Raw debuted on Netflix with a huge show that saw The Rock embrace the Tribal Chief after Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa battled in Tribal Combat. The show was headlined by CM Punk finally defeating Seth Rollins as the bad blood between those two men boiled over.

The Undertaker endorsed a new champion on the show while Hulk Hogan received an overwhelmingly negative reaction from the fans in attendance despite his best attempts to get them onside.

However, not everything that was planned or advertised for the monumental show ended up taking place. The New Day was set to face Rey Mysterio and a mystery partner but Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods refused to compete in Los Angeles and that match simply didn’t happen.

Triple H Knows You Know Who Chad Gable’s Opponent Is

It was widely expected Mysterio’s partner would be former AEW World Tag Team Champion Penta El Zero Miedo but he’s now had to wait to make his WWE debut. However, that wait might be just one more week.

Chad Gable appeared on the show and made his case to Adam Pearce that he wanted to show he was not afraid of getting in the ring with luchadors leaving Pearce to make a match for the January 13 edition of Raw between Gable and an unnamed luchador.

At the post-Raw press conference for the first show on Netflix, Triple H pretty much gave the game away as he ran down the card for the next show noting that many in the room would have “figured it out” in regard to who Gable’s opponent will be. Although Triple H didn’t mention him by name, it’s safe to say that Chad Gable will take on Penta El Zero Miedo when Raw lands in San Jose, California.
