Triple H Gives His Take On The Rock’s Cryptic WWE Return

The Rock on WWE Raw

The Rock made his presence felt.

At Bad Blood, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes got a measure of revenge over the New Bloodline with a win over Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. Although Reigns and Rhodes were on the back foot for much of the contest momentum swung in their favour with the return of Jimmy Uso.

The former Tag Team Champion arrived at ringside after Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga tried to get involved in the match. With the distraction dealt with, Reigns got the win.

After the match, Rhodes was attacked again, but Reigns and Jimmy made the save.

Just as the credits were about to roll, The Rock’s music hit and the Final Boss arrived at the top of the stage. Although The Great One is seemingly keeping his cards close to his chest. As the crowd roared he raised an eyebrow, gave a countdown on his fingers and a cut-throat gesture, and left.

The Rock Does What He Wants

During the WWE Bad Blood Post-Show Press Conference, Triple H was asked about The Rock’s latest return and said whatever the Hollywood star has planned, he’s glad to have him back.

“I think the key word there was ‘as he pleases’. The Rock’s The Rock and he’s going to be able to do – I think you saw that last time the Final Boss was here – that whether we were on the air, off the air, still rolling cameras, not rolling cameras, he kinda does what he wants to do when he wants to do it.

That’s the cool thing about being the Final Boss I think. He’s The Rock, he can do what he wants to do.

Having The Rock in your quiver is pretty cool. Embarrassment of riches, we have so much stuff, and when you have a moment like that with The Rock, it’s wonderful to see. And where does it go from here? God it could go anywhere, and that’s the beauty of it.

When we get done tonight, you kind of tell all these epic stories that land you in one place and then you go, ‘Oh yeah, but now what?’, that’s really cool. That’s where we want everybody to be.”

Triple H was also asked about the lack of Black male Superstars on recent PLEs after recent criticism. In response, The Game said he “doesn’t see color”
