Triple H Ghosted Ex-WWE Star Before Letting Them Go
WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, ghosted Karrion Kross before releasing him from WWE.
Kross’s time in WWE before his exit was marked by frustration and feeling undervalued, something he has openly expressed in multiple interviews in the past few months.
The Stamford-based company presented a renewal offer to Kross at the last minute, just 24 hours before his old deal expired, and refused to clarify how they valued the offer, leaving him with little time to decide. When Kross asked for data to understand the offer better, WWE didn’t provide it, and then abruptly pulled the offer away.
Karrion Kross Knew His Time Was Almost Up In WWE
Speaking on The Coach & Bro Show, Karrion Kross revealed that in the months leading to his release in August 2025, he had sensed that things were off behind the scenes. Despite past successes and fan support, communication with Triple H had become distant and confusing, which left him in a scattered mental place and signaled that WWE’s plans for him were falling apart.
We had reached out to him prior to that and never heard anything back. Uh, which we thought was odd, but given his schedule, maybe he just got busy. It’s possible. We hadn’t heard back from him over a text, and then I assumed that we were going to speak after the first time we had spoken to the rep that they put on the phone with us. And we didn’t.It was just a series of things over like a 30-day period. All the guys at the bar were running up to me in the hotel, showing me the clip [Triple H ignoring fans chants for him on the SummerSlam post-show]. And I don’t know, I was already in a displaced headspace because it was right after, you know, it was the SummerSlam weekend, and we got called off of Raw. Everything felt like it was going in this direction already. So, I wasn’t even surprised when I saw the video. (From 34:41)
