Triple H Forced To Make WWE Crown Jewel Match
Triple H was forced to make a rare appearance on WWE television as Randy Orton demanded his shot at retribution against Kevin Owens.
After Kevin Owens viciously turned on Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton tried to keep the peace and keep the trio on the same page. However, his attempts to talk sense into Owens turned physical leading to Kevin Owens assaulting Orton in the parking lot.
Randy Orton is hellbent on revenge and after being denied a match by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis who indicated his decision was made by WWE management, Orton went straight to the top on SmackDown in New York City.
WWE fans were given a rare glimpse of the Gorilla position as Orton stopped by to talk to Triple H while making his way to the ring. WWE’s Chief Content Officer waved him to the ring so Orton had to make his case in front of the live crowd.

Randy Orton Begs Triple H For Chance At Revenge
Orton called out Triple H and accused his former Evolution partner of protecting Kevin Owens by denying Orton a match against the former Universal Champion. However, Triple H had to finally admit that he wasn’t protecting Owens but was protecting Orton instead.
Randy Orton reminded Triple H of their violent history together and asked what he would do if he was in Orton’s shoes. The Viper begged for a match against Kevin Owens and eventually Triple H relented making the bout official for Crown Jewel but gave Orton a stark warning as he suggested from now on Orton protect himself at all times.
