Triple H Teases Huge First-Time-Ever Match For Brock Lesnar

Triple H recently made a huge Brock Lesnar tease.

The Saturday Night Main Event in Washington, D.C., ended with John Cena losing to Gunther via tapout.

Following the event, WWE held a post-show panel where Triple H discussed Cena’s retirement and other things.

The NXT Champion Oba Femi was also brought up during the discussion.

Femi faced Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at SNME. Their bout ended via disqualification because of Drew McIntyre’s interference.

Brock Lesnar Vs Oba Femi Could Soon Happen in WWE

Triple H hyped up Oba, claiming that he is a rising star in WWE with a bright future.

“Not everyone is going to take that giant leap to the next level immediately, but Oba is one of those guys where you’re instantly thinking about it.”

He also commented on the online comparisons between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar, which stemmed from their similar physical builds.

“You’re talking about Brock Lesnar — the ultimate destroyer in this business — and already there’s a comparison being made when Oba walks in the door.”

HHH then subtly hinted that a first-time ever match between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar might take place in the near future. He also teased that Femi would be part of the Royal Rumble next year.

“Just watching Oba Femi, there’s a lot of people you’d want to see him go against. That’s the wonderful thing about it — that’s the wonderful thing about NXT. You get to fantasy book these people when they get here and what they can accomplish and achieve.”

“When we talk about the future, it is so bright. If only we had an event in January where tons of people compete and you never know who shows up. If only, right? That’s the beautiful thing. The Royal Rumble comes along — you make careers at the Royal Rumble.”

Femi is thriving in NXT. His match at SNME is a strong indication that WWE is ready to launch him on the main roster.
