Triple H Involved In Filming Of WWE WrestleMania Promotional Video
Triple H was busy at WWE SmackDown filming a video about the next WrestleMania event.
The Rock announced in February that WrestleMania 42 would be held in New Orleans in April 2026. It would have been the third WrestleMania at the Superdome, but then plans changed.
Instead of going to New Orleans for WrestleMania 42, WWE opted for a different approach, returning to Las Vegas for the second consecutive year.
While WWE has yet to officially confirm that WrestleMania 42 will be held in Las Vegas, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, filmed a video confirming that New Orleans won’t host WrestleMania next year, instead hosting the Money in the Bank PLE in August 2026.
It was reported in recent days that WWE’s deal to bring WrestleMania 42 back to Las Vegas is pretty much a done deal, as reported by Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer.
Vegas very close to being a done deal for WrestleMania next year. There were a few hurdles to be cleared and several were this morning. Vegas is making a lot of concessions to clear the way for them.
Triple H Featured In Video To Announce WrestleMania 42 Location
Fightful Select has reported that Triple H was filming backstage at SmackDown in Bakersfield for upcoming promotional materials.
It was noted that at one point during the filming, Triple H said the line: “Anything worth doing is worth doing twice.”
That line by Triple H is likely a reference to WrestleMania going to Las Vegas for the second year in a row. The report also mentioned that a black SUV was set up to film the segment.
What isn’t known is when WWE will officially announce the Las Vegas location for WrestleMania 42. They could play the video of Triple H announcing it at Money in the Bank in Los Angeles on June 7th, or perhaps they’ll wait until Monday’s Raw in Phoenix. They could also opt just to do it on social media. Stay tuned because the announcement is coming soon.
