Triple H Addresses If England Is Going To Host WWE WrestleMania

WWE Triple H Nick Khan London

Triple H has given an update on the possibility of WrestleMania going to England for the first time.

It has been made perfectly clear by London, England’s mayor Sadiq Khan that he wants to bring WrestleMania to the city.

There have even been meetings between Khan and WWE’s President Nick Khan (no relation to Sadiq) and WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Those meetings were not a secret because the trio posed for photos together and made them public.

The first 41 WrestleMania events have taken place in the United States (39 times) and Canada (two times). WrestleMania 42 will be in Las Vegas for the second year in a row, and many cities will likely bid to host future WrestleManias, including those that have previously hosted it in the US.

Whenever Triple H does interviews with the media and a question comes from England, they usually ask about London hosting WrestleMania. When The Sports Agents asked about WrestleMania in London, Hunter responded by saying WWE was open for business.

“I cannot confirm. But, like you know, we’re wide open for business, and as we said with the mayor when we were there… we’re open for business.”

Triple H Is Looking Forward To Talking To Mayor Khan Again

As he continued, Triple H called London a “second home for us” since WWE has run many events in England, even if it hasn’t been a WrestleMania.

“We’re a global company and we want to bring our biggest events and our best events all around the globe.”

Triple H also made it known that WWE plans to talk to Mayor Khan about London getting WrestleMania again.

“We look forward to hearing from the mayor again and continuing our conversations.”

If London were to host WrestleMania, it would likely start at 1 p.m. ET or 2 p.m. ET, a time slot that WWE fans have grown accustomed to due to the company’s increased focus on overseas shows over the last few years.
