Triple H Headlines Emotional WWE Hall Of Fame

Triple H WWE

Triple H is now a two-time WWE Hall of Famer as he headlined a class of legends including Michelle McCool, the Natural Disasters, and Lex Luger.

The WWE Hall of Fame is the company’s chance to pay tribute to the stars of the past and celebrate their accomplishments in what is often an emotional ceremony that takes place over WrestleMania weekend.

2025 saw Triple H – despite being the boss in WWE – inducted as a solo star following his induction with the rest of DX in 2019.

In Las Vegas, The Game headlined a class featuring Lex Luger, Michelle McCool, the Natural Disasters, as well as Legacy inductees Dory Funk Sr, Kamala, and Ivan Koloff. The first-ever Immortal Moment was also inducted as WWE celebrated the WrestleMania 13 classic between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart.

Triple H Heads Up Class Of 2025

Lex Luger rose from his wheelchair and stood at the podium following his induction by DDP. Luger discussed not being a wrestling fan originally and thanked “Pastor Steve” – an apparent reference to Sting – for leading him to God as his life spiralled out of control.

Michelle McCool was inducted by her husband, The Undertaker, and discussed the difficulties of being a women’s wrestler in the “Divas Era” of WWE.

The Natural Disasters’ induction saw Typhoon, Fred Ottman, and the late Earthquake John Tenta’s children accept the honour. Tributes were paid to Tenta who passed away in 2006 aged just 42.

CM Punk introduced Bret Hart and Steve Austin as the first Immortal Moment was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. As well as Bret Hart becoming a three time Hall of Famer thanks to the honour, a two-headed statue featuring both half of The Hitman and Steve Austin’s heads was unveiled. Despite this award, WWE still didn’t name the match the best in WrestleMania history.

An emotional Shawn Michaels inducted his best friend, Triple H, as the headline act in the WWE Hall of Fame. Michaels’ speech made fun of working for “Paul” who he described lovingly as a “pain in the ass.” Triple H paid tribute to many people who helped him during his career, including Terry Taylor, The Kliq, and Evolution. The Game finished off by thanking the fans and leaving the room with two words.

Vince McMahon was referenced during the ceremony, while Linda McMahon was seen sitting in the front row alongside Stephanie McMahon and Triple H’s parents.
