WWE boss Triple H

Triple H met with US President-elect Donald Trump at UFC 309.

The WWE Hall Of Fame duo enjoyed a brief embrace cageside at Madison Square Garden in New York City ahead of a main event that saw Jon Jones successfully defend the UFC Heavyweight Champion against challenger Stipe Miocic.

Trump entered the world’s most famous arena to legendary Kid Rock tune ‘American Bad Ass’, likely best known as the former theme tune of WWE Superstar and prominent Trump supporter The Undertaker. The newly reappointed President-elect was flanked by the likes of Elon Musk and Dana White as he took a front row seat.

WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, was also in attendance for the highly anticipated fight alongside wife Stephanie McMahon on a star studded night in New York and shared a handshake with Trump that was captured on social media.

The President-elect is a long-standing friend of the McMahon family having hosted WrestleMania 4 and 5 at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, New Jersey as well as going head to head against Vince McMahon in the ‘Battle Of The Billionaires’ at WrestleMania 23.

The 2013 WWE Hall Of Fame inductee recently appointed Linda McMahon as co-chair of the Presidential transition team and it is widely believed that the 76 year-old will also be handed a key role in Trump’s new administration.

Triple H Promotes WWE Deal With Netflix

Donald Trump is famous for his love of a deal and would no doubt approve of WWE’s $500 million dollar per year agreement with streaming giant Netflix.

The decade long arrangement will begin when WWE’s flagship show Raw makes it’s Netflix debut on Monday 6th January 2025.

Triple H recently took to social media to promote the upcoming move, sharing a behind the scenes look at a video the two companies were producing ahead of the switch.
