Triple H Dislikes Legendary WWE Match Concept
Triple H reportedly doesn’t like a famous WWE concept.
The first-ever Money In The Bank Ladder Match was held at WrestleMania 21 back in 2005, with the winner earning a contract for a shot at a World Championship of their choosing at any point during the following 12 months.
That inaugural match was won by Edge, who went on to successfully cash in his contract on John Cena at New Year’s Revolution to claim the WWE Championship.
The concept proved so popular that after six outings at WrestleMania, it became a standalone pay-per-view in July 2010. The first women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match was contested in 2017 and won by Carmella.
However, despite the concept’s success, it’s been reported on Wrestle Votes Radio that Triple H isn’t a fan.
“I’ve been told Triple H not a big fan of the Money in the Bank prop as a whole.”
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp later pointed out on social media that Triple H never held the Money In The Bank briefcase, never took part in one of the ladder matches, and was never cashed in on by a Money In The Bank winner during his career.
Triple H Struggling To Find Role For Jimmy Uso
Meanwhile, it’s been reported WWE currently doesn’t have a program or a role for Jimmy Uso. The report noted that the company is looking to elevate Uso but has yet to work out a way to make it happen.
WWE is keen to keep the star involved and recognises that he remains popular with fans, but is struggling to find a spark to lift him to the next level.
Despite his lack of creative direction, Uso has continued to wrestle on television, most recently teaming with Rey Fenix in defeat to Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo on May 23.
