Triple H Credits WWE Hall Of Famer As The Glue Of D-Generation-X
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared his thoughts on the driving forces behind the success of the legendary faction D-Generation X.
Speaking on The Roommates Show, Triple H credited both Shawn Michaels and Chyna for their pivotal roles in the group’s legacy.
I would say Shawn, though there’s a part of me that would say Chyna.
Triple H said when asked who he considered the MVP of DX.
When we first started it and Shawn was heavy in DX with me, I was learning so much from him on a day-to-day basis about the business. But Chyna was kind of like the glue that held that together.
Levesque praised Chyna for her unique ability to maintain order within a group known for its wild and rebellious antics. While Shawn Michaels played a key role in shaping the faction’s creative direction and impact, Chyna’s presence ensured the group remained cohesive despite the chaos surrounding them.
I’m the guy that doesn’t drink or do any other stuff, so I’m easy to deal with, Shawn is a mess, Road Dogg is a mess, X-Pac is a mess, Billy is a mess, so she sort of kept everybody in line. Like, there’s only so much s**t I can tell them and control them before they’re like, ‘F-off,’ and we get in a fight about it. Nobody’s going to give her a hard time.
Chyna’s ability to manage the strong personalities within DX, coupled with her commanding presence, made her an indispensable part of the faction.
Which Former WWE Superstar Did Triple H Apologise To Before Their Raw Match?
Former WWE Superstar Maven spoke about why Triple H apologised to him before one of their Raw matches and said that The Game pulled him aside before they went out for a squash match in which it was planned that Levesque would put Maven away quickly, but Maven said that Levesque told him he didn’t like to squash people and apologised to him before the match about having to do it.
