Triple H Congratulates Brand New WWE Champion

Triple H has congratulated the newest WWE champion as one star captured their first singles title in the company.

Chad Gable began hell bent on trying to be able to defeat luchadors to no success. So he went to Mexico, claimed the secrets of lucha libre, and returned as the mask-wearing El Grande Americano.

The character shift courted controversy after he was first announced as being from the “Gulf of America”, but the reason for Gable’s alter ego became a bit clearer when WWE announced their purchase of AAA, as the sports entertainment giant looks to spread its wings in Mexico.

El Grande Americano spoiled Rey Fenix’s WrestleMania debut when he picked up a big win thanks to loading his mask with metal to see off the ex-AEW star. And now Americano has gone on to even more success by winning WWE gold.

Triple H Happy For New WWE Champion

Before Raw took place in Omaha, Nebraska, matches were taped for Main Event and WWE Speed. El Grande Americano defeated Dragon Lee in one of these bouts to become the new WWE Speed Champion.

Now, Triple H has taken to social media to congratulate his newest champion and thinks that Chad Gable will be happy about the win as well:
