Triple H Was Choked Up During WWE Crown Jewel Moment
Triple H was emotional while watching one specific moment at WWE Crown Jewel.
The WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, appeared during the Crown Jewel PLE in Perth to present championships and rings to the big winners.
After Stephanie Vaquer beat Tiffany Stratton to win the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship and Seth Rollins beat Cody Rhodes to win the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, Triple H went into the ring to present the winners with their prizes.
While both of those matches were newsworthy, many people would say John Cena’s win over AJ Styles stole the show as the two legends busted out many moves that some of their past rivals and friends used in their careers.
At one point during the Cena-Styles match, Cena kissed Styles on the forehead and hit him with the Sister Abigail neckbreaker that the late, great Bray Wyatt used to use. After the move, the fans took out their phones and lit up the arena as fireflies. Cena reacted to it with a big smile on his face since he had worked closely with Wyatt many times, and Styles was friends with Wyatt as well.
Bray Wyatt passed away in August 2023 at the age of 36. He was a former WWE and Universal Champion who will be honored in the WWE Hall of Fame someday and will be remembered as one of the most creative pro wrestlers ever to exist.
Triple H Was Choked Up Watching The Bray Wyatt Tribute
At the WWE Crown Jewel Post-Show, Triple H spoke about how many fans in the crowd had John Cena shirts on to show their love for Cena. He also discussed how the tribute to Wyatt left him choked up and emotional.
“It was incredible, the amount of shirts is unbelievable. That’s a testament to John Cena and who he is as a performer. And just at this — at this moment in time, you know, I think people are beginning now with what — what did we have four [dates left for Cena] — we’re beginning to realize what’s about to be over. And you just want to have that — you want to have something that you can take home with you, and say I was there.
And that’s what you see with this, with all that yellow in the crowd tonight. Just an incredible moment.
There were so many incredible moments in that match. And things for people to react to, the Bray Wyatt moment. For me, just — you know, even just watching it, I was getting choked up just watching.”

John Cena won the phenomenal match over AJ Styles after hitting a Tombstone like The Undertaker and the Attitude Adjustment right after it for the win.
