Triple H Allegedly Buried Gunther By Booking Him To Beat John Cena
Gunther defeated John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Champ tapped out, shocking everyone in the arena.
Not only were the fans taken aback by how the match ended, but some WWE Superstars were also rather furious.
The send off was supposed to be heroic, and not have Never Seen 17 tap out in his final match, especially since he has claimed he will never work a match again.
Triple H may have buried Gunther by having John Cena tap out
Was it necessary to have The Champ tap out? Absolutely not! However, that is how The Game booked it. Now, when does a superstar tap out? It’s when they have no fight left in them. Interestingly, after Cena tapped out, he had enough left in him to celebrate while standing on his two feet.
Former WWE head writer Vince Russo claimed that Triple H buried Gunther by having The Champ tap out when he addressed the situation on The Coach and Bro.
So Gunther chokes him out. Gunther, you know, beats John Cena. John Cena taps. Okay. And then after that, we have a celebration. So John Cena is perfectly healthy on his feet, not hurt to have a celebration, to have Triple H point to the Titantron and the whole nine yards. You just buried Gunther beating John Cena because obviously John CENA IS OKAY. SO SO DON’T, DON’T give me that as an argument because by doing that, you took away everything Gunther just did at the end of that match with that celebration. John’s smiling.
John’s looking at the video. SO NOW, GOD, Gunther couldn’t have really hurt him that bad. That’s where they’re clueless. That’s where they are absolutely clueless.
The Grand Slam Champion will always be associated with WWE despite having finished his 23-year-long in-ring career.
