Triple H Breaks Silence On The Rock’s New WWE Role

Triple H and The Rock have long been in-ring rivals but now they’re on the same side at the very top of the WWE ladder, even if Dwayne Johnson is a rung or two further up.

The Rock has been appointed to TKO Group’s Board of Directors, meaning that the former WWE Champion now serves on the same board that Vince McMahon is the Executive Chairman of.

TKO Group was formed when Endeavor completed its takeover of WWE in September 2023 and the company oversees both WWE as well as UFC.

The Rock’s appointment came on the same day as that of Brad Keywell as the TKO Board swells from eleven members to thirteen.

Triple H Welcomes The Rock Back To WWE

Taking to social media, Triple H had a message for The Rock following his appointment:

An incredibly exciting day for our business. @TKOGrp continues to grow bigger and better every day. Welcome to the team, @TheRock.

Rumours have persisted that The Rock could be in line for a huge WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns in the near future. The Rock recently doubled down on his comments about Reigns and this new appointment could signal that the Hollywood star is set to be part of WWE in some fashion for years to come.
