Triple H Avoided Conversations About Popular Group’s WWE Future
AEW star MVP has claimed Triple H went out of his way to avoid conversations about The Hurt Business making a comeback in WWE.
During the summer, MVP allowed his WWE contract to expire and decided it was time to move on. He was quickly followed out of the door by Bobby Lashley, who also decided his future lay elsewhere.
The pair had enjoyed a great deal of success after teaming up in 2020. Under MVP’s guidance, Lashley became a two-time World Champion, and the group known as the Hurt Business also held tag team gold with Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. Although the faction eventually disbanded, they nearly reunited on several occasions, but the returns were nixed.
MVP, Lashley, and Benjamin have finally gotten back together in AEW under the guise of the Hurt Syndicate. MVP has previously claimed the new WWE management wasn’t for him and now he’s gone a step further with his claims against Triple H.
Triple H Wouldn’t Talk Hurt Business Says MVP
Taking to social media in now-deleted posts, MVP claimed that Vince McMahon wanted The Hurt Business to be a second coming of the Nation of Domination, something he fought against. When asked what Triple H had to say about the group, MVP noted that Triple H always avoided having the conversation about them.
Bobby Lashley has been vocal about WWE burying him under Triple H’s management before he left the company to join AEW.
