Triple H Discusses The Possibility Of Australia Hosting WrestleMania
Australia became the first country to host the Crown Jewel PLE after Saudi Arabia since its inception in 2018.
On Saturday, viewers witnessed a boisterous audience that left everything at the RAC Arena in Perth when it came to supporting their favorite wrestlers or booing the heels.
Triple H addressed a question from Big E during the Crown Jewel post-show, wherein the former wrestler asked if Australia could host a show of WrestleMania’s magnitude in the future.
Look, I don’t think that there is any place in the globe…if there’s anything that you’ve seen in the last couple of years, 2-3 years, it’s that this is truly a global brand. Right? You saw it in Paris, you’re gonna see it in Saudi. You see it in London, you’ve seen it in Cardiff, you’ve seen it in Ireland, you’re seeing it in Mexico right now. You’re seeing it all over the globe. We’re a global company, which means we do global events and we do them better than anybody else on the planet.
So, is there an opportunity to see WrestleMania, the Rumble, SummerSlam in all these other places? Absolutely. It’s just gonna take some time to see where we can go and the logistics, as you know, Mania isn’t just any event. It’s over a week of events. Bringing that to somewhere brings a whole another level of logistics. So, we’re excited to go to Saudi, but excited to see where’s next after that, and the planning process is long.
Triple H Heckled About WrestleMania In Saudi Arabia
The Perth crowd, like other Western countries, did not appear happy about WWE’s decision to choose Saudi Arabia to host WrestleMania.
In September, Triple H announced that Saudi Arabia would host WrestleMania 43 in 2027.
While the fans in Saudi Arabia celebrated, many fans seemed annoyed at the decision, which was seen during the WWE-AAA Worlds Collide event in Las Vegas recently.
Similar to Las Vegas, the fans in RAC Arena chanted, “You sold out,” as Triple H made his appearance during the post-show.
The WWE Chief Content Officer, however, chose to ignore the heckles.
