Triple H Announces Huge John Cena Match For WWE Crown Jewel

John Cena WWE Shocked

John Cena has got his wish.

In recent days, John Cena has been calling on Triple H to make a match with AJ Styles before he retires. Cena is now less than three months, and only five dates away from hanging up his famous jorts.

Those posts were quickly followed by a response from AJ Styles, who said he was ready and waiting for one more dance with the 17-time World Champion.

The pair had a lengthy rivalry through 2016 and into 2017, with their last singles match coming in February 2018.

In a shock announcement on social media, Triple H has now revealed that Cena and Styles will meet one last time at Crown Jewel. The event will mark WWE’s return to Australia, and the first time Crown Jewel has been held outside of Saudi Arabia.

@JohnCena vs. @AJStylesOrg is a match we all want to see. And at #WWECrownJewel…we will.

John Cena Picking His Final Opponents

Despite his regular public claims to the contrary, John Cena is choosing his final opponents. As reported by Dave Meltzer, when discussing a potential match between Styles and Cena before the announcement from Triple H, he noted that it would happen if that’s what Cena wanted.

He added that Cena is expected to hand-pick his last opponent.

John Cena will wrestle his last match on December 13 at a special Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Washington, DC. There’s currently no word on who he’ll be facing. Ahead of the announcement, it had long been believed that Cena would retire in Boston. Instead, he’ll appear at the famous TD Garden for the last time on the November 17 episode of Monday Night Raw.
