What Triple H Told Aleister Black After WWE Return
Aleister Black has returned to WWE after a four-year absence, but what did Triple H have to say to the star following his re-debut?
Mystery first began to build when SmackDown took place in Barcelona, as a 15-second video that featured a dark room with some smoke filling the screen aired. There was no person in the video, but the number 4 appeared.
On SmackDown in Fort Worth, Texas, the waiting was over. Former WWE Champion The Miz took to the ring to complain about not being respected. It became very clear, very quickly, where this was going as the arena was soon bathed in darkness and familiar music hit. A close-up of candles preceded Aleister Black slowly rising from the floor as his return to WWE was complete.
Saying absolutely nothing, Aleister Black wiped The Miz out with Black Mass before sitting cross-legged in the ring.
Triple H Embraced Aleister Black
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Black’s wife, WWE Women’s US Champion Zelina Vega, revealed what Triple H told Black after his on-screen return:
After everything that both him and I had been through, it felt like, okay, that chapter of ‘the crazy’ is done, and now we can start this new chapter.
I think he was so ready for that. He was so ready to return home. Honestly, my favorite part was – obviously seeing him go out there and do what he does – but Triple H hugging him afterwards and saying ‘welcome home’ was really, really nice.
Aleister Black was fired by WWE in 2021, and thanks to a mix-up with his contract, he was able to debut for AEW shortly after as he did not have to wait the usual 90 days to move elsewhere.
