Triple H “100%” Behind Bringing Ex-WWE Star Back
A new report has shed light on how Triple H feels about bringing back a former WWE Superstar in what could work out as a “two-for-one” offer from the company.
Since Triple H took over as Chief Content Officer in WWE he has been aggressive in his recruitment, bringing back many former stars that were previously released such as Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and perhaps most notably, Bray Wyatt.
WrestleVotes has reported that Triple H is also keen on bringing back another former star that made a splash in the wrestling world following his release from WWE in 2020, Matt Cardona. According to the report, the company would also be likely to extend an offer to Cardona’s wife and former WWE star, Chelsea Green:
“I’ve heard because he’s done on the indies that Hunter is a fan of his. Cardona is not shy about being a lifelong fan and Hunter likes people that don’t shy away from growing up in this business. Hunter would 100% take Matt Cardona back, but I don’t know if that offer has been extended.”
“If he comes in with Chelsea Green, I don’t know. I know he really wants Chelsea back. Specifically, I know Shawn Michaels loves Chelsea Green, so if they want her you would think they kind of make a two-for-one offer like we’ll take both you guys if you want.”
“I would assume she comes back from what I’ve been told they do like her, specifically Shawn, and although she’d be would be working main roster from what I’m told, she’s got supporters there.”
Matt Cardona has previously discussed a possible return to WWE but says if he did go back it would have to be under his real name and not his previous gimmick of Zack Ryder.
