Trinity Comments On Winning IMPACT Wrestling’s Knockouts Title

Trinity has commented on what it feels like to be the new Knockouts Champion in IMPACT and she posted a photo with some WWE friends that were there too.

In less than three months after making her debut in IMPACT Wrestling, Trinity became the new Knockouts Champion in her first match at Slammiversary on July 15th.

Deonna Purrazzo walked into the match as one of the greatest Knockouts Champions in IMPACT history. The two talented women had a very competitive match with both women looking like they might win. Eventually, Trinity wore Purrazzo down, applied the Star Struck submission move and got the win to become the new Knockouts Champion.

After her championship victory, Trinity was interviewed by IMPACT’s Gia Miller about what the moment meant for her.

“I’m living the dream living a dream right now. I pictured myself being the Knockouts Champion. Here I am. It’s such a surreal feeling.”

“Gosh, I’m still trying to process it all right now. Deonna is definitely the toughest opponent I have ever faced. To be able to go the distance with her and beat her is a huge accomplishment for me. Now the real, real, real work begins because it’s gonna be even harder to hold on to this.”

In addition to living her dream of winning the Knockouts Title, Trinity also had the support of some famous friends from her WWE days.

Trinity posted a photo on Twitter with the Knockouts Title along with her good friends from her WWE days: Mercedes Mone (former Sasha Banks) and WWE’s Tamina. Mercedes and Tamina did not appear on the show, but they flew all the way to Windsor, Ontario to support their pal. That’s what friends are for.
