After spending over a decade in WWE, Trinity Fatu believes that her exit from the company was a “blessing in disguise” as she moves on to IMPACT Wrestling.

Former WWE superstar Naomi, whose real name is Trinity Fatu, is now a part of IMPACT Wrestling after appearing at the April 28th tapings in Chicago. It was the first time that Trinity has appeared on a wrestling show since leaving WWE in May 2022.

Following Friday night’s IMPACT Wrestling taping in Chicago, the company promoted Trinity’s debut heavily saying you can watch it on IMPACT TV next Thursday. .

It was in May 2022 when Naomi & Sasha Banks were the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. They were frustrated about a lot of things there, so they literally left their titles and walked out the door. Since then, there were a lot of rumors about a WWE return, but it never materialized.

While speaking to NBC Chicago, Trinity talked about her WWE exit.

“I’ve been wrestling 14 years now, and then one day everything, everything just changed. And I felt like my whole world was turned upside down and things were shuffled around. It took a little time to just process everything and really sort out what I want to do, where I want to be.”

“I feel like it was a blessing in disguise. I feel that it’s allowed me to to grow and become better in every way, in every aspect. Show me how strong I really am. And now I’ve got this new journey ahead of me, these new goals, and I’m excited and ready to step into this new chapter.”

Trinity, who is married to WWE’s Jimmy Uso, spoke about feeling overwhelmed after receiving so much love following her IMPACT debut.

“Being back in wrestling and being with my pack in a place where I feel so welcome and just for the opportunity and just receiving all the love, it was very, very overwhelming. And I really felt it in my heart like I really did. I couldn’t even hide the emotion.”

On Saturday, Trinity tweeted these photos with Mercedes Mone and Samuray Del Sol, who used to be WWE’s Kalisto.
