Torrie Wilson Can’t Believe She Did This WWE Scene
Torrie Wilson’s WWE run included several controversial and awkward segments. During her WWE tenure in the early 2000s, the WWE Hall of Famer was often involved in storylines and scenes that involved provocative elements, typical of that era’s female roles in wrestling.
Speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, she revealed that some moments, like bikini contests and certain sensual portrayals, made her uncomfortable, and looking back, she cringes at parts of her WWE run. She described rejecting some pitches, like a bikini contest hand-paint idea, opting instead for rhinestones to feel safer. She also expressed mixed feelings about her career, highlighting how WWE’s creative sometimes pushed boundaries.
“For a long time, I kind of had mixed feelings about my time in wrestling because there was so much about it that I felt like was just, you know, I don’t know about embarrassing, but like I just I just felt yucky, you know, thinking about it. And, so I just kind of closed that door and just had no desire really to do much with it. I did signings here and there, but I just kind of wanted to stay out of that world. It just felt yucky.” (From 6:20)
One notable segment in her WWE career involved Torrie Wilson in a hospital room with Maven and Billy Kidman. In the storyline, Maven was hospitalized due to injury, and Wilson teased Maven while eating a banana. This segment was actually filmed off-site at a real hospital. She also kissed Huffman on a RAW episode.
Torrie Wilson Feels Embarrassed by Her Kissing Scene With Maven
Torrie Wilson reflected on kissing Huffman and the hospital segment with him during the Ariel Helwani Show and expressed a mixture of amusement and embarrassment over doing the scene.
I remember when we kissed, and I do. Yes, I remember he was there. I think he was [in] the one, too, where we did a scene where he was in the hospital and I was
eating a banana. Oh yes. And I saw this on Instagram recently and had totally forgotten about it, and I was just, I couldn’t believe that I did that. Another one of those things you’re like, “Oh my gosh, Tori, really. (39:05 to 39:24)
