Torrie Wilson was always willing to go the extra mile to entertain WWE fans, but there were some things she said no to as she mentioned in a recent interview.

When WWE bought WCW in March of 2001, Torrie Wilson became a huge star in WWE after only being in the business for a few years at that point. She was immediately featured in segments with former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and participated in a Bra & Panties match at Invasion 2001 as well.

Over the course of her WWE career through the 2000s, Wilson took part in a lot of different things like lingerie pillow fights, competitions involving water balloons, numerous bikini competitions (that she usually won), and even made out with Dawn Marie to prevent her from pursuing Torrie’s real-life father Al Wilson.

Wilson also posed in Playboy magazine twice – once by herself and once along with former on-screen rival Sable.

During an interview with Generation Iron Fitness & Bodybuilding, Wilson recalled a time when she said no to an idea that was pitched to her.

“They wanted me, like what Sable did, paint my boobs and walk out there naked. And I said no. There are certain things that I turned down that I could’ve gotten ahead with. But it just didn’t feel right.”

While Wilson said no to doing the hand-painted breast look that Sable did in 1998, former Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro recreated the look several years later.

Following her retirement as a full-time performer in 2008, Wilson participated in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble in 2018 and again in 2021. Wilson was also in a battle royal at the first-ever women’s only Evolution pay-per-view in 2018 as well.

Even though Wilson never got to hold a title in WWE, she improved a lot in the ring while earning the respect of the fans. Wilson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.
