Top Female Star Praises Triple H For Current WWE Era

Triple H WWE

The way Triple H runs WWE has led to some high praise from one of the company’s biggest female stars.

Chelsea Green has a long history in WWE even if most fans don’t even know it. Long before she became a champion in the company, Green worked as an extra in a famous angle involving Brie Bella and she was also on the last edition of Tough Enough in 2015.

When Vince McMahon was running the company, Green was let go even though she had success in other places like TNA. Green eventually found her way back when Paul “Triple H” Levesque took as WWE’s Chief Content Officer in the summer of 2022. Since McMahon is no longer around, Triple H is fully in control and has paired Green with Piper Niven.

As one of the more unique women characters on the roster, Green has stood out and in December 2024 she became the first Women’s US Champion.

During an appearance on The Sports Agents podcast by Gabby Logan and Mark Chapman, Green spoke about how far the women’s division has come with Triple H leading the way.

“If we’re talking Vince vs. Triple H, we’re also talking Attitude Era vs. now. We’re talking Divas vs. women. We’re talking about Trish Status vs. me. There’s so many answers to that question. First of all, we would not be here without that side of things. We in 2025 would not have the success that we have if it wasn’t for that Attitude Era.”

Green went on to praise women’s wrestling legends like The Bella Twins, Trish Stratus, and Mickie James for paving the way for the current generation of stars. Green also spoke more about loving her job and feeling safe at work.

“I can’t speak on what their era was like because I wasn’t there, but now in this new era, I know that I come to work. I love my job. I feel safe. I feel supported. Triple H makes women specifically feel absolutely equal to men.

That’s why I love to come to work. That’s why I feel so supported and so seen is because we are out there main eventing WrestleMania’s now. Something that unfortunately that previous era didn’t get to experience.

They set the table for us and now we’re sitting at it and enjoying these amazing meals and I couldn’t be happier.”

Sean Waltman Believes Triple H Is Here For The Fans

In a recent interview, Sean “X-Pac” Waltman spoke about why Triple H is the perfect guy to run WWE in this era. Waltman has known Triple H for over three decades and the two men are close friends who joined the WWE Hall of Fame together with the D-Generation X group.

“I’ll share something I haven’t told anyone else, when we were at Raw, I said to him, ‘You deserve all this. And the fans deserve you.’

The fans dealt with a lot of bulls**t over the years. It was hard to be a fan for a while, and I don’t f**king mind saying it. It’s different now.

He’s here for the fans. There is so much happiness and excitement surrounding WWE. This is what I always envisioned for him. It’s amazing.”

The legacy of Triple H is felt not just in WWE, but in the sports world since two NFL players recently tried a Pedigree during a game, but it didn’t go well. Triple H had a funny reaction when he saw it on social media.
